Director of the
Institute of Computer Science, Polish Academy of Sciences
announces the availability of
PhD student scholarship
in Computational Biology with a focus on modelling of glioblastoma
(starting date: by agreement as soon as possible )
Qualifications requested and eligibility:
Master’s of Science in Bioinformatics, or an equivalent Master’s degree in Biotechnology, Computer Science or Statistics. In the latter two cases, the candidate should present evidence of competence in basic molecular biology. Experience in machine learning methods and analysis of sequence data is a merit. The candidate should also have good communication skills and excellent study merits, and good skills in oral and written English.

Application The applicant should include his/her Curriculum Vitae (CV), a brief description of research interest, skills and past research experience, copies of exam-certificates and grades, a summary of Master’s thesis, any own publications and a cover letter. We encourage applicants to provide details about referees who may provide recommendations for the applicant.
